Do you offer telehealth appointments ?

We make services accessible by offering both in-person and telehealth appointments at a time that is convenient for you. Please make an appointment and lets discuss how we can be of help to you or your family member.

What type of insurance do you accept?

Empower Psychiatry accepts health plans from most of the major insurance providers. These include:

Aetna
Cigna
Empire Blue Cross / Blue Shield
Oxford Health Plans
UnitedHealthcare

If you do not see your insurance provider above, include this information during the sign-up process. We’ll let you if we’re active with your insurance plan in your state! We also accept HSA/FSA payment if you have one of those accounts. If you have questions about using your medical or prescription insurance benefits, please contact us by phone or email.

Is what I say during my treatment confidential?

Confidentiality is paramount at Empower Psychiatry. This means that we protect our clients’ privacy by not revealing what they say or that they are in therapy without their consent. Confidentiality is based on professional ethical codes and local laws. It allows our clients to openly discuss their thoughts and feelings without fear .

However, there are a few situations that may require us to break confidentiality.

This includes if the client may be an immediate danger to themselves or others. Confidentiality rules and laws vary by state. You can consult with your provider for more information on confidentiality in your area.
